In some instances you may have done your initial diver training with another training agency such as PADI, NAUI or SSI. If this is the case, you can still become a Member of the BSAC. The table below sets out the level at which you can enter the BSAC training structure. When crossing over to BSAC, we may ask you to do a refresher course to ensure that your skills are up-to-date.
Statement of Alternative Training (SALT)
The table below lists a number of ‘other agency’ qualifications that are considered to be of a similar standard to the BSAC qualification shown, and trained divers joining a BSAC Branch may be issued with a SALT certificate accordingly.
